I don’t believe Frisco has ever been swept at home under the six-games-per-week format instituted in 2021. They did lose five straight at home to Wichita prior to a rain-cancelled series finale in 2023.

Jacob Johnson was a little more runner-prone than usual and finally allowed a run in his 4th low-A start, but it was very unearned. He was pulled immediately after the leadoff batter in the 4th reached on an error, and the batter later scored.

Five Years Ago Yesterday
Plenty of minor league teams will play with a two-man bench consisting of a catcher and utility player, but because of covid knockouts and a late scratch of Jonah Heim, the MLB Rangers’ substitutes consisted of C/1B Yohel Pozo and 1B Curtis Terry.
Owen White reached a season-high four innings with one run and three strikeouts in low-A. He’d missed much of the season to a broken hand suffered when he slammed the ground in frustration after an error.
